Alt Text: An artwork that depicts an Afro-indigenous Siren woman, named Xena, holding the number, “41,” in her palms, showing it off like a gift to the viewer. Xena has pearly light blue hair in tight curls tied back in a poofy afro, with an equally poofy bang hanging over her forehead, with two long pearly light blue locs framing her face. Her eyelashes match her hair color. Her eyes are sapphire jewels with cyan lighting. Her big nose, a flattering feature of her face, plump lips, with two elongated fangs sticking out from her upper lip. Her skin with cool blue undertones, speckled with spots that change color with every emotion; depicted however, the spots are a pale translucent white. Her pear shaped squishy frame is adorned with a green crop top and a pink flower indigenous to where she lives, and a orange and red wrap under her hanging belly. The background is a mix of blue, white, and cyan, water waves, to depict she is from a water based location, signed with an owl rabbit glyph, and the artists fancy signature of their name, Sam Wise.

Alt Text: Under a brightly shining setting sun, a vivid magenta. Blue, and white star speckled sky, clouds disperse as they reveal a sapphic couple’s silhouettes, connected by a kiss, standing on the stop of a wooden play button on the beach’s golden sand. The ocean crystal blue, the sun’s rays shining at the viewer, in this public display of love between two loving women in fancy garb. The scene is in the shape of a circle, with the words, “Hall Of Fame” Overlayed along the bottom, the owl-rabbit glyph in darkened turquoise on one side of the wooden play button, and on the opposite side, is the artist’s fancy script that says the artist’s name, Sam Wise.

Sam Wise (they/them) is Black, nonbinary spoonie, who dabbles in Character Design and 2D Illustration, and recently writing. They create the content that they would love to see in today’s media, emotionally-intelligent and personally impactful, while showing their truth. Many of their characters are neurodivergent, physically or mentally disabled, or marginalized in some way. Their hope is that disabilities and other marginalized communities will be seen and accepted as— and loved for— the people they are, rather hated and feared.
